Coral Caftan

Taking part in this shoot was very insightful. The team I worked with were absolutely professional and amazing. The look is part of my 2017 collection. The Moroccan caftan and accessories are available for bridal-styling service, in the UK, and Europe.

The experience enables myself and my team to take care of bridal make up and hair, outfit changes, veil setting as well as Doli/Amaria to complete the bridal package. Giving each bride a bespoke, tailored to each brides preference.

Chaimaa & Aaqib’s Fairytail Wedding

I loved every milli-second of this wedding, and I think the pictures are proof as to why.     It was such an idyllic venue, set up and decor. The bride was beyond happy and impressed with her achieved look as it was exactly what she was looking for which was extra glamorous make up with long luscious curls.

There is nothing more versatile than a warmish smokey look to really warm up a look which can be glammed up or toned down to your preference. For this look I went glam to the max. Using the Urban Decay vice palette 3, this palette is so great for everything, and everyday, I feel as though this palette is all I reach for at the moment. Also I have used some plum-mish colours on the Lorac palette 1 for this look also creating the perfect transitional blend for this plummy smokey look.

A new make up hack I used for this look and I am unbelievably impressed and will definitely be carrying in my freelance kit from now on because the skin looked absolutely flawless was using the Nivea Post Shave Balm as a primer. Having brought for an impressive £3.52 for a bottle of 100ml this will last me much longer than the primers I currently use, and made my skin look radiant and appearing blemish free. My skin type is combination (mostly dry however) and I do suffer from eczema, this product was very gentle on my skin. As I am very careful with what I put on my skin to not irritate it.

Can we have a moment of silence on the lashes though? How insane are they? I brought this from Illamasqua on a whim. I do not usually go this dramatic on lashes despite being a make up glam addict who’s make up drama has no bounds.
The lashes are called ‘Lush’ and really complimented this Arabic liner smokey eye look. They were wispie and dense, just how I like my lashes; they do not look any different than mink lashes which are really popular. They are synthetic too which is perfect.

Gold and Brown Sultry Smoke

Firstly using an SLR camera is such a dream, it picks up everything though; still trying to master lighting. Obviously there is nothing more perect than natural light so please excuse the lack of light for now as I plan to have it rectified in the near future.

For Nora I used the and lorac pro palette and did an Arabian sultry smokey eye of a contrast of matte and shimmer and dark and light. Which is so complimentative to any eye shape. She already has the loveliest features and with contouring I really wanted to bring more warmth to her skin. The highlight of the cheeks matching the shimmer and highlight of her eyes it was a really eye an catching look. This make up can be worn with a nude or white eyeliner or a more dramatic liner at the bottom (because yes I am all about the drama). And seeing as I went slightly strong on the eyes I wanted to create balance in toning down her lush lips with a neutral nudey pink colour, and kept them matte also.

Vice Palette 2

Any excuse for me to get experimental and I’m there. I am loving this look I did using the Urban Decay Vice Palette 2, seeing as I’m an Urban Decay addict I find all my post so far have been about these shadows – I will change the record; I promise. Along with the naked palettes this palette has been my ‘go to’ palette, as it has colours for most occasions with it’s reasonable mixture of velvety blends and matte shadows it’s perfect. Not very often would I wear pink especially on my eyes but it looks so pretty teamed up with your not so usual gold shadow ‘Blitz’ and Pink ‘Coax’ (who comes up with these names?). The new 2014 Vice Palette is already out and cannot wait to get my mitts on that too, and with them being limited edition I waste no time in buying them.

Samer Khouzami Transformations

Being completely obsessed with Samer Khouzami’s work, in case you are not familiar with him he’s a make up artist to the Lebanese celebrities and a household name as far as social media is concerned for his epic transformations and his techniques on immaculate colour correction and manipulating light. Being a true fan of transformational make up and a strong Middle Eastern style. My client gave me a picture of his she was after for her event; and me being the glam addict any given opportunity for strong glam, Arabian and dramatic make up I am so there. Here’s the outcome.
