Bollywood Bride

Working with Jaymee was such a pleasure, she booked me in a year in advance and without a trial she laid complete trust me in me. It’s fair to say the result were phenomenal. I opted for a smokey soft sultry eyes with flawless finish to her skin. She wasn’t after a harsh contour and not did she need it . For her hair we were lightly inspired by the south Indian look but framed the front of her hair to compliment the look. Dupatta/Chuni and accessory setting by me.

Cat eyes

After some time off (and not out of choice) I am back with this cat eye eyeliner look. I have not exaggerated the eyeliner too much I may do an exaggerated eyeliner one day in the near future. I’m all about manipulating products to accentuate features. Whether it be light and dark to create depth in a person’s features in this case I have used eyeliner to make my eyes appear larger. As I have really small eyes. For the liner  the inner corners I extended the eyeliner right above my tear duct and connected a small point below the tear duct as well as extending my eyeliner further on the outer corner of my eyes. N.B This look would not compliment someone with close-set eyes.   And for added pizzazz (lol) I’m wearing Solotica lenses.

Pewter lovin’

As of late my ‘go to’ eyeshadow colours have been pewter, silvers and greys. I am usually rocking a smokey eye to salvage my helpless hooded eyelids; (yes there is hope)! For this look I’ve alternated to the creamy consistency of Estee Lauder double wear foundation which might I add really feels like skin. When contouring I do suggest not applying too much as it is a medium to full coverage foundation and it dries semi matte. Which in turn is mega convenient when you want to manipulate a finish to be matte or glowy.  Who wouldn’t want to have best of both worlds? I had gone a little bit heavier on the brows. I will do a small pictorial on how I do my brows.

Bridal Make Up

When bridal make up is concerned there is are so many options to go for, conventionally clients prefer a natural look.

For a more natural look, I do encourage my clients to have something accentuated whether it be the lips or eyes or even skin and contour.

For this look in particular I worked on the skin and winged eyeliner. There are no rules when bridal make up is concerned and for a vintage liner and hair, this particular eye make up compliments ALL eyes, even hooded eyes.

As I have an issue with my mega small eyes I feel comfortable having nude eyeliner in my water line to create the illusion they are larger than what they are.
